This is one of those books that in theory should have absolutely worked for me, but it just stepped a *little* too out of my comfort zone. I can absolutely see how so many people I know would love this book, because I know objectively it's a great book within its genre!
The monsters were just a little too monster-y for me. I do wanna emphasize that I know it's ridiculous to "complain" about a monster book being too monster-y, but that's why my ratings are subjective. It personally is not a book I would pick up again.
However, it has a great storyline, a good set of characters and it's easy to read. So if you're a more seasoned monster romance reader, you'll probably eat this up!
