My first thought on this book is there's not enough actual baseball to consider it a "sports" book. My second thought is wow I really liked this book. Like way more than I thought.

It's a very 'real' romance about college love and life after college. I skimmed over some reviews prior to reading and most complained about the 8 year time jump but I thought that was great writing. I think it's a good representation of how most college relationships end up.

Emory and Knox are both likeable characters and
it's heartbreaking when they break up. I totally understood her reasoning for leaving Knox but as a reader, I was so mad at the author for making her leave him!

I'm also starting to extremely dislike this cliché ending of being pregnant right away. At least this time it was explained as a 'drunk night and condom was not a thought'. But not every HEA is having a baby as soon as you get back together with someone.
