The Daughter of Time
by Josephine Tey
This is very different from the other Tey books I've read, in that it's really not a mystery at all. It is from the point of view of a detective, but it's all about finding out what Richard III was really like and what he did, sorting the fact from the fiction. I've read a couple books about him, so this was very interesting for me, to look at him from another angle. However, I don't have a clue as to how much of the information presented is actual fact and what Tey made up. It also offers many interesting insights on history on general, how it is made and how reliable it really is.
