Pushing the Limits by Katie McGarry
4.0

Picking up this book to read, I never thought I'd like it this much!
I'm a male, and ofcourse what I look in a book is alot of action, killing and stuff. But this wasn't the situation. It was a pleasant suprise, and I like suprises.

I think Katie McGarry did a wonderful job capturing the essence of the characters and the intense degree of the tragedy in their lives. Noah and Echo were drawn to one another, and seem to fit each other perfectly. I liked Noah's relationship with his younger brothers alot. It was quite touching the degree of loyalty and love that he felt for them.

Noah was such a lovely person.. regardless of his drug habit in the beginning, he would ofter push the limits of authority to get his way, but his goal always seemed honorable.

I found Echo a little weak, at times. She, like didn't have her own independence. Some of her choices depended on her friends' approvals. I was glad that towards the end of the book, she she finally came out of her shell, and thought on her own.

An overall emotionally touching and good, solid read. Great job mrs. Katie. Can't wait for Beth's story.
