At the beginning, this book was horrifying in the sense that I felt like no matter what I do, I'm going to die. By this I mean, I often work out roughly 30 minutes a day, give or take, and eat relatively well and still that's not enough. It was a bit paralyzing at first, but as I kept reading, I was impacted by the message of small choices make big changes. So, instead of feeling like what's the point, I found myself more encouraged. Basically, okay, so I'm doing xyz, which is better than if I wasn't doing anything, but if I can handle doing a little more movement, or eating specific things, or not sleeping in, then each decision would be beneficial and MORE helpful. In all, this was a good, at times repetitive, but I enjoyed it and if anything, it helped me put into action my desire to wake up to my alarm.

It's a good read particularly because it's NOT overwhelming. It literally is one step, one choice at a time.
