Ready Player Two by Ernest Cline

Did not finish book. Stopped at 11%.

I do not care for the amount of pandering in the book. I also feel that big chunks of the book could be removed for they serve no real purpose in progressing the plot. It’s like the author knew the pop culture references saved the  first book so he’s doubling down. Also no true Whovian ever picks Jodie Whitaker as one of their fave doctors in Doctor Who. Jodie is  an amazing actress and I have nothing against her but the writing for her time in Doctor Who was terrible but I felt much the same for the direction the writing went with some of Peter Capaldi as well. Either way Ernest Cline is trying to hard to stay relevant and the plot gets lost in all the pointless references.
