Doppelganger
by Naomi Klein
informative
reflective
medium-paced
Got more than I bargained for with this one. It started off focused on how the author, Naomi Klein, began to become frequently confused with, particularly on Twitter, Naomi Wolf, an author turned anti-vax conspiracy theorist. As Klein continued to explore the doppelganger theme, I was impressed at the way she weaved this framework into in thoughtful and well-researched reflections on a myriad other topics including climate change, the rise of the far-right, the Holocaust, and the genocide perpetuated by Israel against Palestinians in Gaza.
