pandared 's review for:
Red Seas Under Red Skies
by Scott Lynch
When I first picked up this book I wasn't really expecting anything groundbreaking. It was just something I got on sale to kill the time while waiting for another book to come out. I was pleasantly surprised when this book deviated from the norm in many ways. The main characters are witty and the author does a good job of making the reader love them despite them being thieves that are sometimes forced to kill people. The way that the main characters interact with every other character they meet is greatly amusing and doesn't take away from the more serious aspects of the book in any way. Locke and Jean have stolen a place on my favorites list for this book and hopefully the entire series.
