This definitely brought things back around after the last two books. I wouldn’t necessarily categorize this as a MC romance because the main guys aren’t in a MC anymore more like mid-level dark romance or MC adjacent.
Nova and Emmett were much better protagonists and much more interesting/less naggy and their issues seemed less contrived. Story flowed a lot better and the family drama reminded me how much I loved Riven Knight. The way these people just pop out babies every 18 months though has my uterus hurting though I guess if Perry intends to write a second generation series with the kids then having them all be around the same age works best. If thats the case I should’ve taken notes with the names and the ages because by this epilogue I needed a damn chart!
