Jimmy and the Crawler by Raymond E. Feist

3.0

Jimmy the Hand is sent to deal with the mysterious 'Crawler' and bring peace to the kingdom again. Or something like that. Perhaps it's because the story itself is rather short or because it used an internal shorthand to refer to other things in previous books (that I haven't read), but I felt I missed out on some of the jumps in the story and didn't quite understand why we got to certain places. I didn't quite follow the reasoning behind the story's realisation of when the Crawler turned from one thing to [spoiler] but there was lots of running around rooftops and other such dagger-waving adventures.
