I really like second chance romances but I was a bit hesitant with this one since I thought the MMC reason for leaving was bs. Thankfully, even though I still feel like Declan was being an idiot, I really enjoyed this one. I really like the whole universe so far and I can't wait to read about Sean and Jacob next! Sydney was a really nice FMC but I think she needed to make Declan grovel even more but, under the circumstances that they were in, I understand why she forgave him quite easily.
