The book follows a middle aged woman, Janice, who as a cleaner gets to know people's stories. Yet she claims she doesn't have one, which of course the reader knows isn't true. It is more character based than plot and is a little slow to start but quite enjoyable.
Throughout the book there are a few stories woven together with Janice uniting them. It's well done and doesn't become disconnected or confusing to follow.
The ending was a little random.
