I somehow missed that this was going to be. throwback to 2003. I was mildly amused by all the references my "older" self caught and actually understood. (I say older...meaning older than Nic but young enough to appreciate the pop references.)
Chasing Love is a cute story. Its definitely a young adult story. It's told from the heroine's POV so doubt filled teenage musings are a requisite.
I had a bit of trouble getting into the book because the recording comes off a bit tinny with an almost echo. I'm not sure how or why but it drove me nuts. I was also unused to this particular narrator's style. There were lots of pauses where it seemed like it wasn't necessary.
Overall, it was a cute story.
