I really enjoyed this book. Mark and Tori were a joy to read about.
Tori has just gotten out of a horrible marriage, her husband cheating on her and then kicking her out. She’s trying to become a strong and independent woman, finding herself a good job, finishing school and just being happy again. She has a passion for helping children with special needs and wants to build a business doing just that.
Mark is a divorcée and a single dad to his son, Gabe, who has autism. He’s looking for the right person to work with Gabe to help him flourish and grow. He loves his son fiercely and also wants to help Tori reach her goals.
Mark and Tori have some incredible chemistry and there are definitely some steamy scenes in this book. And while they did have their setbacks and struggles it was great to see them work things out.
I really liked the relationship between Tori and Gabe and how much she helped him. When he calls to her? The anguished TORI!!!! Oh my, this heart was breaking over here.
Can’t wait to read the next book in this series. Thanks for such a great read!
