This was a re-read, so obviously I enjoy the book—and the series—enough to pick it up again (or listen, since I've always read the audiobooks for this series).

Jet and Soren's story is a fitting ending for the series, since their relationship is hinted at in previous books and fits in with all the other couples' stories from previous books (Jet is Matt's brother; Soren is a hockey player like Ollie, and also one of Damon's clients). Jet was a beam of sunshine in Matt and Noah's book, and I was looking forward to him getting his own story. Same with Soren—his appearance in Ollie and Lennon's book was more angsty, but he clearly had a story of his own to tell.

There's a three-year time skip between when we last saw Jet and Soren at the end of Deke and the events of this book, and they both arrive in Fiji with their lives in a bit of crisis, even before they have to confront their feelings for each other. I liked the use of the second-chance romance trope here. For one, it was fun to finally get the story behind their interactions in earlier books. Plus, Jet's a bit more jaded after his experiences with fame and an ill-fated romance with a fellow singer, and Soren has had a chance to play hockey as an out player and had his own doomed romance with the ex he came out for.

Everything ties up a bit too neatly, sure, and the author's songwriting is absolutely terrible, but overall I had a good time with this book. Definitely helps to have read all the other books, especially since there's so many appearances from all the couples in the previous four books.
