Prophet Song follows Eilish as she tries to protect her family while the Irish government becomes increasingly authoritarian. The book does a really good job of capturing the helplessness and terror Eilish feels as she works to keep her family together. This doesn’t make for an enjoyable read, even though it’s incredibly well-written.
