I don’t know why this book was one of Obama’s favorites in 2020. I don’t know why it was turned into a movie. I can’t figure out what this book is trying to say about the world. For a plot driven book it feels like nothing happens. The writing feels lazy and uninteresting. This might be my least favorite book.
