Think Wonderland... but not.. IMO the best. This whole book sounds like a good time, but then you get into and lets be real, it was confusing AF. I am a fantasy reader, but this took me by surprise. I think this type of game plays better on a screen, but that ALL being said... I do like when a story gives us the answers and my questions were answered for the most part. I will be continuing the series because I like Tella and I need to find out where their mom has been.

This is a YA series and the romance is very YA. That's okay, but it did lack a lot of substance for me and it made I hard for me to connect with Scarlett and the guy she ends up with(trying to keep this spoiler free).

I just expected more, but it is the first book in a series, so I am going to keep going and hope it gets better.
