I LOVED this one! I always enjoy Rose‘s books but this one was even better than the last one I read. There were parts I had minor issues with but all in all it was a very good, fast-paced read.

The story begins right where ALONE IN THE DARK (the previous installment of this series) left off, which in the beginning I found a little difficult because it‘s been a while since I read it and I had trouble remembering what had happened in that story. After a few chapters Rose dropped enough hints in the story for me to remember most of what happened so it was fine then.

What I loved about this book was that the chapters were really short which contributed to the fast pace of the story. Also it got me hooked because with the chapters mostly the POV changed too and I wanted to know how the story developed for the different protagonists. I also liked the different POVs, especially that there were chapters written from the villains POV.
