I attended a launch event for Jessica Hopper's newly revised book but didn't have it in my hands yet to read, so ended up digging this guy out of my bookshelf instead. It holds up and is beautiful and is full of so many messy, glorious descriptions of riding a bike around sticky summer city streets that I have now convinced myself that circa 2007 Jessica and I could be very good friends.
