buddhafish 's review for:
Point Blanc
by Anthony Horowitz
Continued reading the series as the whole school seemed to be, and my friend and I enjoyed them. This one reminded me of the Roger Moore Bond film, The Spy Who Loved Me which began with the crazy skiing, shooting enemies from his ski pole that doubled-up as a rifle and the giant Union Jack parachute which deployed as he went off the cliff at the end of the chase. The snowy mountains and the skiing in them both appealed to me, and both played in my mind on my own skiing trips as a child, fancying myself as either Alex Rider, or James Bond, himself.
