A cute end to the misadventures books, Backup Bride & the Ex. Hayes & Echo were sweet together & it was nice to read a book based on the male perspective. It was also great to have the fmc not be annoying. She was just a normal girl trying to get her childhood best friend to notice her as an adult.
Don’t let the title fool you, this was not the typical, “me man, must stop all other men from even looking at woman” books. There was definitely some of that, but it didn’t take over the entire male point of view.
