No Place Left To Hide by Megan Lally
3.5
dark mysterious tense medium-paced
Plot or Character Driven: Plot
Loveable characters: No
Flaws of characters a main focus: Yes

Not as good as That's Not My Name (a book I recommend to everyone who ever asks for a thriller rec, by the way), but still pretty engaging, especially the second half.

It took me a hot minute to get into this because I realised early on that I wouldn't be liking the characters, but I wanted to see where everything would go.

The pacing was a bit off in the first half, but the second made up for it, and made me want to give this a full 4 stars, but I can't ignore what came before, so I'm settling on a 3.5

Was it worth the read though? Yess, I love Megan Lally's writing style and will read anything she puts out. Plus, there were so many twists that I didn't see coming, and that ending left me going "what???". So I would still recommend it, but read her debut book first so you know how incredible her stories can get.
