picked this one up because i saw a stranger reading it in a café and thought the cover was impossibly cool, just to see it in the bookshop a week later. really really glad i did. judge books by their covers sometimes.

this thing made me hungry. really lovely introspective look into womanhood, loneliness, and eating in japan (strange as it may seem from the marketing).
