Prophet Song by Paul Lynch

A sad peek into what life could be like in a Western country that turns a blind eye to rising authoritarianism. The rights we think are embedded in our government and society are only there if we protect them.

While reading it, it felt a little bit like it was all over the place but perhaps that was deliberate as I’m sure that’s how one would feel, trying to keep all the plates spinning, while the floor beneath you starts to break apart.
