Ravenor
by Dan Abnett
I couldn't quite decide where to place this, I think it's more of a 3.5, so I give it a 4.
Ravenor is a spin-off of Eisenhorn, I was expecting more of that, but the pacing and vibes are very different. The focus is smaller, more tense, and far less action-heavy. I think this worked pretty well. I enjoyed the stakes being lower, but still important, it gives more space for the characters to breathe and develop.
Overall, I am glad I read this, but it isn't in my top Black Library or even Dan Abnett Black Library book.
