The Rule of Four by Ian Caldwell

2.0

I loved the plot and ideas behind the mystery, but the writing was a bit immature. Written by two Princeton grads - writing about two Princeton students - it seemed like their main goal was to slip in as many obscure Princeton facts and inane frosh memories as they could. I think it would've been better if they'd waited 10 years to write it, and maybe also if each had written their own book. Collaborations rarely seem like a recipe for success.
