This is my second or third real horror novel? I liked the horror aspect but I think there are better horror novels out there. Even though it was pretty tense and it did keep me on my toes I felt like the big reveal and the latter part of the book was lacking. It was actionpacked but not really scary for me personally? I really liked the premise of the book, but can male authors please stop writing female characters like this. (this is a very generalized sentence and I am aware of that)
