Another solid read by Robert McCammon, who’s quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. He can weave a story that keeps me engaged from the very first line to the last. •

Gone South is an adventurous tale of desperate people doing desperate things. It’s full of interesting characters and unexpected twists and turns. I didn’t get quite the same memorable connection to this one that I did with Boy’s Life or Swan Song, but I still thoroughly enjoyed the ride.
