Katarina and Heath have been skating since they were kids. They’ve always been friends which transformed into love. The whole story is about them becoming better ice dancers with the goal of attending and winning the gold at the Olympics. It’s far more K’s dream but Heath loves her, so he goes along with it.

There’s a lot of technical dialogue as well as competition throughout. I liked the storyline but there’s not much romance for the two main characters being together off and on for 400 pages.  I felt that this book was quite repetitive with the competitions, the hardships, the sabotage and arguments between skaters.
