This book started so strong and got progressively worse and worse. Delilah was frustrating as she was incredibly immature and didn’t listen to others/repeated the same arguments over and over again. The writing was really poor and the conversations between characters really made me cringe.
Dante calling her “little lamb” was so cringey it was so unsexy. Dante was so controlling and obsessive that it was borderline abusive. He was incredibly unlikeable. I found Dante so attractive and intriguing right at the start of the book he didn’t need to be a mobster. If it had just stayed a brothers best friend situ it would have been a great romance. But the author gave him an entire personality transplant and an unrealistic backstory .
The constant miscommunication between the two was tiresome and the role Izzy played in the book became increasingly frustrating.
