Kingdom of the Cursed by Kerri Maniscalco

5.0

I am in absolute awe of this series. It keeps me on my toes and wanting to know what happens next. I will not reveal much of the storyline, so I won't spoil the story.

Synopsis:

After her twin Vittoria is murdered, Emilia sells her soul to the devil. Part of the contract agreement means she has to live in the Seven Circles. Walking blindly, she enters a new environment, atmosphere, and realm while maintaining her strength and confidence as best she can. She makes detailed yet dangerous plans of ways to avenge her sister's death. According to the blood signature she used on the contract, she is set to betroth the devil. Wrath is to deliver her to the Devil in time. The relationship builds between Wrath and Emilia, causing complications and chaos due to the heated sexual tension between them. She is to be the Queen, to marry the Devil. What will happen to their relationship?
Emilia encounters difficult paths and decisions that she has to make on her journey. Meeting new people, friends, and foes, she begins to learn more about herself, the realm, and the Princes of the Wicked.
Passion, anger, confusion, and twists of theory end book two of this series, leaving you wanting to know more.

My thoughts:

I have personally fallen in love with this story. The descriptions and details within the book make it easy to visualize the story as if watching a movie. This draws me in as I feel like a part of the story.
The relationship building between Wrath and Emilia is a beautiful love story of enemies to friends to lovers. It keeps you on your toes.
The storyline is well written and comes to a cliffhanger at the end of book two, encouraging readers to engage in book three, Kingdom of the Feared. I just have to know what happens next and how the story plays out and ends.
