My nine-year-old loves this series, so when she told me I should read it I gave it a shot.
I can definitely see why she likes it, but it was not my favorite. The writing is very basic and full of clichés. The characters are teenagers in high school, but written like they're elementary school aged children.
I won't continue the series, but the younger demographic will probably enjoy it. I feel like that's the target audience anyway.
