I adored this book. I listened to the audiobook which was a really fun experience, especially with two readers (Marcellus had to have his own voice, of course), but the story was so good.
I liked even though the connections between the characters became apparent earlier than they discovered them, that was a big part of the point, and Marcellus knowing before anyone else.
This was the kind of book that made me emotional in both expected and unexpected ways. I loved the characters, loved the way they developed, especially Cameron’s progression, and I really loved the humor Marcellus brought in, as well as his insight. The writing was beautiful, through and through!
