Here we are again because of the Shadow and Bone show, and no one is surprised. I'm actually liking the way that they are adapting these books because it works well for integrating all of the characters. Plus, it gives us more time with the Six of Crows characters, which I will never complain about.

One thing that I always really like about this duology in particular is that there are a lot of narrators, but they all have distinct voices and they don't blend together like other books with multiple narrators. Plus, Bardugo is just great at writing characters in general!

Watching Shadow and Bone made me want to re-listen to this, so here we are! This duology is still my favorite at the moment, I just like the characters in this better than the original trilogy. I just got King of Scars, so I can't wait to continue!

Re-listened to this because I never read the second book and I didn't remember a lot of the details from this one. Just as good. He second time, and I loved all the narrators! They brought so much to all the characters. Now, onto Crooked Kingdom!
