Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can't Stop Talking by Susan Cain

4.0

This was really good in depth look at a common topic in social psychology - introversion/extroversion. The book focuses on the nuance of introversion & important role the quality brings to our worlds. Cain is very thorough in outlining the psychological research & social phenomena that led to the esteem of extroversion. I am a true introvert but know I have extroverted qualities I am comfortable with...I think many people feel they don't fall into a polarized category - this book does a great job of proving a more robust understanding of the personality structures. A must read for anyone who is an introvert or who parents, lives with, works with or supervises one!
