While it's not exactly a beach read, this book is basically the Bible for yogis. I thought it might be hard for me to understand since I only started my practice less than a year ago, but the instructions, photographs, and effects are all explained really clearly--even for the beginner! It's a great reference book that I will keep handy for whatever question I may have about my asana practice. If you're looking to deepen your yoga practice, I definitely recommend this one!
