I’ve never reviewed short stories! I don’t know whether ALL of them need to be “perfect” (to me) to warrant a five so I took an average score… I had a favorite that I would highly recommend and since the book is so short (-! my reviews are ALWAYS about time invested versus enjoyment) I’ll say 4.5
Pre simulation consultation was amazing.
Twenty hours GRIPPED me. I’d recommend for that one alone.
I also don’t have any experience with horror short stories that end in sort of a “vibes” resolution (I’m very used to dramatic fantasy stories that throw your sense of understanding upside down). I didn’t resonate with the two that didn’t end dramatically. In this fantasy had me SO CONFUSED and bridezilla was a little flat for me. I felt sort-of hanging-on-ish but I’m hesitant to critique these because I’m mentally exhausted these months and those two might read different/be for another day.
