The writing in this book is so lyrical and beautiful and although it took me a little bit to get into it, I found myself so immersed in the story and all the characters. I loved the timeline and how much of the characters lives we got to see. A breathtaking and hopeful story that is definitely one of my favourites.
It should be noted that due to the time it was written, there is a lack of diversity and also some everyday sexism.
