A hilarious and exciting jaunt around Liverpool led by an undead cafe owner with a dry sense of humour - what's not to love?
The second in The Netherweird Chronicles is as tense and thrilling as it is funny. The undead politics continues despite some rather serious upheavals - proving that even after death people can have some very questionable priorities!
I absolutely loved this book, it was a light read but still gripping and somehow believable in the context of the world Violet has built.
