I really loved how alex and henry’s feelings about each other progressed and how they both had points where they reached out, physically by flying to see each other but also emotionally by being the more vulnerable one. While having no perspective from henry, he is still one of the most flushed out love-interests i’ve read about. I really liked the relationships alex had with june & henry had with bea, especially since the rest of their family relationships were chaotic at best. I’m a sucker of history and literature references in romance and the resemblance of love letters in their emails.
