Wow! What a remarkable book! Jessica did an amazing job telling this story. I could not put this book down!! What a wild and thrilling ride. By bringing her own experience of being a British soldier, and a woman, she was able to show a true depiction in the life of a soldier.
This story is about British soldiers during a war, being attacked and severely injured and how they were affected during the after math. She brought to light how much physical and mental trauma can really effect someone's life. PTSD is horrible to cope with on a daily basis. I have someone extremely close to me that suffers with complex PTSD. I feel Jessica really handled this storyline with compassion and grace.
This book is also about so much more. Friendships, lies, deceit, and the character development really makes this book outstanding.
I can not say enough about this book. It's out NOW! Grab a copy!
