Hollywood Babylon: The Legendary Underground Classic of Hollywood's Darkest and Best Kept Secrets by Kenneth Anger

3.0

A hesitant three stars, this kind of feels gross and exploitative at times. But I think because I'm so familiar with Anger as a filmmaker, I can take the bitchiness of his tone as self conscious and ironic. It's very readable and I didn't take any of it as complete gospel, so it kept me entertained enough in between more mammoth Murakami sessions.
