OKAY HEAR ME OUT.
I honestly didn't really enjoy the first book that much. It felt pretty meh to me. It was pretty straight forward and I found it lacking a little bit of excitement. I can't even remember the characters' names, so of course I was hesitant to read this one, but after weeks of reading only FF and not one traditionally published book I READ THIS ONE which is so exciting.
Wes has always lived in the shadow of his siblings, but now he has a chance to prove that he can make something out of himself by acing this new project and giving the old big house a makeover. So he has been waiting for the designer he had been speaking and exchanging ideas with. She's finally coming to town to start working, but she is not what he expected.
I honestly adored Wes. We need more soft, caring men because I find it so attractive like omg. He's kind, communicative and so so patient. Ada needed a hug so bad. I want to be her friend a prove to her that she's a great person and that I'm proud she exists. I kind of felt like we got very little of her overcoming her insecurities. I kind of wanted to learn more.
And now I can't wait to read Gus' and Teddy's story (:
