Booster Gold, Vol. 6: Past Imperfect by Keith Giffen

This volume was way better than the last few. There was little to no "I don't care if it's meant to happen, I can't let those people die" moments. Those were really annoying.
The story felt almost theatrical; the action was action-y, the threats were real. The only thing I didn't care for was the villain. I couldn't take him seriously for some reason. Another thing: I used to love Ted Kord, but reading this has made me realize that he was really immature. I mean, I knew he was immature, but I didn't think it was as bad as it really was. Immaturity is not a quality I like in a person, especially a superhero. His attitude in this seems to contradict the one he has in The OMAC Project, when he was serious the whole time. I liked that Ted Kord.
ANYWAY, this is a review of a Booster Gold comic, not a Blue Beetle one.
I fell in love with the new creative team. Giffen, DeMatteis, Batista, and Perrotta blew me away.
This book collects Booster Gold #32-38. The World of Flashpoint Featuring Superman collects Booster Gold #44-47 (the end of the Booster Gold comic). #39-43 were not collected into a paperback book for some reason, but I recommend finding and reading them anyway. They're pretty good.
