Talk Sweetly to Me by Courtney Milan

5.0

This novella is a perfect ending* to the series but it could still easily be read as a standalone.

Rose is a mathematical genius and works as an astronomy computer. Stephen is the Dolly Parton quip to "figure out who you are and do it on purpose," come to life; he's a writer who capitalizes on being moderately scandalous in charming ways, such as by writing for a suffragette newspaper. She's brilliant and he's punny. *swoon*

*If Courtney Milan ever decides to write more, I would happily read them. For instance, I'd love a whole book on Rose's sister and BIL, or Stephen's brother (who appears in other books in the series) and his partner.
