Such an intense read. I was immediately hooked and flew through the book.I found the ending not particularly satisfying, and overall didn’t strongly connect with the main character. But, I was engaged in the story the whole way through. While I enjoyed the book, it should not be elevated above the work of authors who have a lived experience more connected to the story.
