WELL. I was all giggly while reading because Andrew Polley Hollis just does that to a person. He is just so perfectly charming. Only thing I could want from this book is Andrew's POV. It's one of the very few things this book lacks.
I love the premise, I just wish that we spent a tiny bit more time with the time-loop. But I appreciate that it doesn't feel altogether forgotten. It could be really easy once things are going well in one go-about to forget the original premise and pretend it never happened. Or maybe I'm just dumb and could never write a book cause I'm easily distracted.
I think people go into Christina Lauren books expecting 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶 and become very disappointed by the fade-to-black or "tasteful movie sex" scenes. I don't think the lack of explicit spice makes the book any less good. I was fully invested in the relationship and how sweet and kind and lovely and adoring Andrew is. Damn hes really just the Dream Man. Maelyn really knows how to pick 'em.
I'm rambling. I have no coherent thoughts. I only know that I enjoyed it and it was well written and I even cried at one point.
