Very slow paced and felt more like one of the YA novels than the adult series, so overall not one of my favorites. I think it took too long to get to its own plot and pull everything together. Lots of slow political intigue and not much action, and for a "both sides are equally the problem" situation, one side was consistently framed as The Actual Problem pretty strongly.
That said, I loved the character work, even the characters who I disliked as people; since this is part of the core adult books I hope it means I'll see more of these particular characters!
