IT ONLY GETS BETTER

For six months I dwelled in the dark recesses of my mind, scavenging for any memory at all that would give me a foothold long enough to remember what words I needed in order to find this book series again.
After reading the second book and waiting for the third to come out, somewhere in the stressful muck of my life...I had forgotten the name of the books, and the author. I had forgotten the main character’s name, his species. The only words I could remember were “Winged-lizard-man warrior”. Not exactly helpful in a Google search.
For six months I could not remember the words necessary to rediscover this wonderful series. I knew that the third book had been released by that point, but for the love of God I could not find it.
Finally, only two weeks ago, the name “Raz” popped into my head. I have not an inkling of what triggered the memory, but the name was enough. One Google search of “Raz winged lizard man warrior Son of” later, I had discovered, to my delight, the third book of the series I had been dying to read. Also, I discovered that, like last time, the next book was going to come out one month after I discovered the one most recently published. What timing! (In an attempt to prevent this from happening again, I followed the author on Amazon.)
Anyway, to the part you all wanted to read when you started reading this review (I applaud you if you managed to get this far into my dithering) I was gripped from page one and could not make myself stop until I had to leave for the blight on my life called a job. I finished as soon as I could and I am positively quivering from excitement to get my hands on the next one!
